ACEPI Navegantes XXI Award – The best of the digital economy

Leonor Beleza received the Career Award during the ceremony of the ACEPI Navegantes XXI Awards, which took place on October 13, at Convento do Beato in Lisbon.

The Digital Economy Association Steering Committee (ACEPI) decided, unanimously, that the work performed by the President of the Champalimaud Foundation was worthy of such distinction, since it has contributed to the promotion and development of the knowledge, innovation and the digital economy in our country.

During the event the winners of the 20 categories in this year’s competition were also announced.

La Redoute has taken the Best B2C E-commerce Website award, Book in Loop have won the award for the Best C2C E-commerce Website. Vortal platform was voted Best B2B Marketplace, the Municipality of Aveiro took the prize for the Best Digital City and Bioko won the best Digital SMEs award. MEO was named Best TV App and EME, the Best Mobile App. The Innovation award for Digital Marketing was given to the Caixa Geral de Depósitos publicly owned bank and the MBWAY service, of SIBS, was elected the Best Innovation in E-commerce.

The Correio da Manhã (Morning Mail) and Jornal de Negócios (Business Newspaper) newspapers have respectivly won the prizes for Best Generalist Media Website and Specialist Media Website. The marketing activities on social networking undertaken by Activo Bank were also distinguished, as well as the shared services of the Ministry of Health – Easy Procurement –, which have won the Digital Public Administration Award. The Best National Website belongs to EDP and the Best Tourism Website award went to Sana Hotels.

IES – Social Business School

The Digital Inclusion prize was won by IES – Social Business School. The web hosting site PTisp won the Innovation Award. The Cloud and BySide was elected the Best E-commerce Services Company. Clientspace took the prize for Best Start-up and Fullsix has won the Best Digital Marketing Agency award
